Well, been away for a week but have material for next couple of weeks to post.
My journey to Bulgaria was incredible, including some bitter sweet moments as usual. My streets, my restaurants, my people. It's all good until the moment I have to leave. Which is usually also described in a bitter-sweet way.
I stayed at my best friend Zornitsa's place in Sofia for 3 and a half days enjoying all my favourite spots of the capital such as Motto, an amazing restaurant with a beautiful garden and excellent food, visited Picasso studio which I totally recommend to everyone who is not keen on hair :) where I accidently found 'Anna' magazine issue where they dedicated full 2 pages for me and my life in Barcelona! Great moment for my ego! :)

Another place I strongly recommend to my buddies around is Culture Beat, located on the left side of NDK (to) :) Veronika Vapirova's (Totally Erected) collab has a strong note in the decoration and event organisation there with all her fresh and uncommon ideas which make the place a mix of modern and classic spot, where you can have a coffee day time, drinks after work or dance with real good house music. Went there twice and the sound was quite deep and cool.

Those plus many more meetings with friends all over Sofia and we hit the road with Zori for our hometown for the weekend where we stayed 2 days.

Incredible performance on the way in the car with playlist: Backstreet boys, Michael Jackson and old bg hits created nearly 20 videos of us singing in the car...I should get her approval and post some of them, cause believe me WE ARE GOOD!
My hometown stay was really short, but deep and soulfull. In 2 days I combined staying at one of my sister's place, then at the other one's, who is pregnant again and I will be the most happy aunt of 6! Saw incredibly many friends who were back from all over the country and world for Easter Holidays and had apparently too many drinks the night I went out...Had forgotten how bad it feels the day after!

Back to Sofia and 50 more songs in the car took me to upgrade my tattoo with my friends and fave tattoo artists Kaloyan and Stilian Smokov, who after working all over the world are back to Bulgaria now and opened their studio at ''Urii Venelin'' 1 corner with ''Shishman'' in Sofia.
If you pass by don't forget to visit another one of my fave places to eat in Sofia - Mediterrani which is right on the corner. Small, cosy but elegant place with exquisite cuisine.
So I've had my geisha for 7 or 8 years now, when we added the flowers above last year when I went to visit the guys in Italy and the last part we did this time is the beautiful fenix on top of everything. The whole picture for me represents the art (geisha), beauty and pureness (flowers) and freedom and passion (the fenix). Thanks to Kaloyan for this amazing piece and let's hope I can handle some time before the next one.
Adventures never stop, and especially if you have to travel from Sofia Airport. Starting with a fight with one of the girls working at the check-in desks, I was made by them to weight not only my checked in luggage, but my hand luggage and my personal handbag. Terrible and rude attidude above all. Asked them 'Why this is happening only in Bulgaria'' and apparently there was my mistake. When we went at the gate for boarding same girl came and told her colleague whispering something in her ear, after which she came to me and told me I should travel with only one piece and should put my handbag in my hand luggage. You can imagine that all women had their handbag and hand luggage apart as in every normal flight, but she told that only to ME. As I finally stuffed my bag inside and got on the bus, I was watching closely how they never said anything like that to any other customer and everyone was boarding with 2 bags....Hate'em!
Story goes on...Arriving in Barcelona found out my man waiting with a bouquet of flowers and my little puppy Mia, which for what he told me was an irresistable view for most women passing by.

Felt good, but strange cause I had to get down to reality, to find out my checked in luggage has been opened and my 100ml Jasmin Noir BVLGARI perfume and 2 cartons of Davidoff were GONE! Such a shame...I'm a patriot usually but gypsies like those really make me feel ashamed I'm a Bulgarian sometimes. End of story! Live with it! The company is not responsible if you don't have a proof that those things were in the bag, so next time you check in your luggage record it with a camera while you close it and put it on the conveyor belt!
Next thing to post will be the amazing pieces of my best friend Zornitsa Dicheva's collection. She's now studying design and doing amazingly good with her work so far! So 'stay tuned'!
